What Does this ultrasound Result Mean?

Hi - My wife's ultrasound report (6 weeks) says - Uterus is gravid measure 9.8x4.3 cm. Single gestational sac is low lying in endometrial cavity in lower part of body of uterus. Decidual reaction appears normal. Foetal pole is indentified in it. Yolk sac is also identified in gestational sac. Normal Cardiac pulsations are observed in it.

CRL ( 1 cm) 7 weeks 1 day (EDD by LMP - 20.4.2015 by CUA) (Mean age 6 W 5 D) (GA by LMP (14.7.2014 - 7 W 2 D)

GS (1.8 cm) 6 weeks 2 day

Heart rate - 127 (beat/ min)

Adenexal sites are clear

Urinary bladder is normal.

Welcome to Health care magic.

1. Your report is normal. Uterus gravid ( pregnancy) with a gestational sac low lying in the endometrial cavity ( which need to be followup in early pregnancy - first trimester)
2.Rest foetal pole, cardiac activity appears normal.
3.CRL - crown rump length ( two end of foetus) measuring 1cm corresponding to 7 weeks and a day pregnancy.
4.EDD- estimated delivery date by last period - 20/4/15.
5.Age by scan 6 weeks 5 days , by LMP 7w 2days. ( normal to have this difference).
6.And finally all adjacent structures appears normal. Suggest followup for low lying after 4-6 weeks time. Good luck.
